The Henson Creek-South Potomac approved master plan recommends policies and strategies to guide the area's future growth and development.

The sectional map amendment brings the zoning into conformance with the land use recommendations. UPPER POTOMAC PLANNING DISTRICT OVERVIEW The Upper Potomac Planning District is located in the northwest portion of Fairfax County.
